Description

A broadleaf evergreen shrub that blooms in late spring with large showy flowers. Loves loose, acidic soils, so best to prepare the planting site with good topsoil and any amendments needed for porous soil, and acidic conditions. Protect from hot, dry winds and winter sun, so best planted on north or east side. Feed with miracid. Grows 4′-6′ tall and wide. Full to part shade.
