Mums

Our garden mums are all the hardy type. This means they will come back year after year.

Our mums are all natural season grown. As the days become shorter in late summer and fall, mums begin to set their flower buds. We don’t manipulate day length to force early blooming. Typically, mums bloom for 4-6 weeks, no matter when they start flowering.

When you buy mums that are already in full bloom, as many garden centers offer, they may only flower for another week or two. For the longest bloom time, choose mums that are packed with buds that are still closed or just starting to open. We have thousands of mums in a wide range of colors and sizes, all grown right here in our greenhouses. Garden Mum – Alpine White (Chrysanthemum)

Excellent mounding habit with clear white decorative flowers that don’t fade to pink. A very late season variety, usually going strong in October. Full to part sun.
Garden Mum – Assorted (Chrysanthemum)

Asssorted Mums, great for fall color in planters, pots or in the ground. Grow to around 2 ft tall and a little wider. Full to part sun.
Garden Mum – Autumn Envy Bronze (Chrysanthemum)

An excellent compact growing Mum, producing large, decorative, two-tone bronze flowers very early in the fall. Habit is mounded. Full to part sun.
Garden Mum – Autumn Spice Igloo (Dendranthema)

This hardy garden mum has a wonderful, bushy, mounded habit and is covered with decorative, orange-bronze flowers in mid to late summer. Grows to 18-24″ tall and wide. Full to part sun.
Garden Mum – Avalon Orange (Chrysanthemum)

Avalon produces a terrific two-tone colored decorative orange flower, with deep orange on the inside and lighter orange on the outer petals. A very late flowering variety, going strong in October. Full to part sun.

Avalon Purple features large purple, decorative flowers on beautiful mounding plants. Blooms appear late in the season. Full to part sun.

Garden Mum – Baoli Lilac (Chrysanthemum)

An excellent Belgian Mum, producing spider lilac flowers in mid to late season. Grows in a perfect ball. Full to part sun.
Garden Mum – Berry Blast Bicolor Pink (Chrysanthemum)

Berry Blast features unusual bicolor pink decorative flowers, with the outer petals a light pink and deeper pink centers. These very showy flowers cover the excellent mounded habit in the mid fall season. Full to part sun.
